The Musician
Donna G - Jac Dalton band
Donna G is a singer/songwriter/performer in her own right. Her powerful, musical and seemingly limitless vocals along with her command of the stage in front of any audience in any environment, whether as a front person or backing vocalist, make her a huge asset to the Jac Dalton band.
Donna is an internationally recognized singer, having toured across Australia as well as overseas to India, Hong Kong, Singapore & Vietnam, where she has performed to rave reviews. Donna’s abilities and flexibility are such that she has also been commended on several occasions for her international diplomacy and management skills which include an open invitation from Vietnam’s Department of Foreign Affairs to return at any time.
Donna also performs as a musician and lead vocalist in her own band, Resonance Project (an original progressive melodic rock band), with musical partner & husband, Graham - as well as in their concept show, Lady Zeppelin.
Their work together with previous versions of Resonance Project (Judgement Day 1994-98/ Fallen Angel Australia early 00′s) and their 17 years of creativity with Graham Greene & The Happy Sinners from the original incarnation (headlining the 1994 WAMI Awards at His Majesty’s Theatre) to today will continue as their life project.
The “Greene” music is completed by long time bassist – Jim Awram, drummer – Troy Brazier and second guitarist – Annemieke Heijne.
In support of the Australian and West Australian music industry, Donna G also founded and runs Guitar Gods Australia – West Coast Guitar Heroes and is co-founder and runs an Australian music portal for independent artists, Global Thunda Network, founded by ‘Nana Mex’ (retired 2009). Donna has been instrumental in participating to help to get several other bands and promotional businesses off the ground and continues to offer her skills and expertise to the greatest of challenges.
The humanitarian.
Donna Greene is one of the five founding members of Stop Child Executions and also contributes her support to Australia’s LandAid as required. She is also a supporter of Strike A Chord For Children.
